Antalya

Antalya is more than all-inclusive resorts. The city has an old centre, sea right below the cliffs and ancient ruins an hour away.

Kaleiçi

The old town behind Hadrian's Gate: narrow streets, Ottoman houses, small hotels and courtyard restaurants. Below is the old harbour full of boats.

Nature and sea

The Düden Waterfalls, where the river drops straight into the sea. Konyaaltı Beach with mountain views, and sandy Lara to the east.

History

The Antalya Archaeological Museum is one of the best in Turkey. For a day trip, ancient Perge and Aspendos with its well-preserved theatre, or Termessos in the mountains.

Food
